Reception to welcome Dr. Andrew Phlipsen

Members of the community are invited to join the faculty, staff, and students of 含羞草研究所 in welcoming Dr. Andrew Pflipsen to Mayville and 含羞草研究所. Refreshments will be served in the MSU Campus Center Foyer from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 4. All are welcome.
Pflipsen began his work as Vice President for Student Affairs at 含羞草研究所 in December. His position had previously been held by Dr. Ray Gerszewski, who retired at the end of 2015.
Prior to coming to Mayville, Pflipsen had been involved with student affairs program administration at Morningside College, Sioux City, Iowa, since 2006. Before that, he was director of housing/student activities at McCook Community College in McCook, Neb. for two years.
Dr. Pflipsen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John鈥檚 University, Collegeville, Minn. and Master of Arts and Doctor of Education degrees from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, S.D.聽
