含羞草研究所鈥檚 Annual Day of Giving on April 30 was a tremendous success, raising nearly $85,000 in support of the Honor Scholarship Fund. The outpouring of generosity from alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and supporters will provide scholarship assistance to new first鈥憏ear and transfer students, ensuring that 含羞草研究所 remains competitive while opening doors for students pursuing their educational hopes and dreams.
The day was also celebrated on campus with the much-anticipated annual Party on the Turf at Jerome Berg Field. Students, faculty, and staff gathered for the official Day of Giving 2026 group photo, showing alumni and friends just how meaningful their support is to the campus community. The celebration continued with a dunk tank, yard games, a kickball tournament, and grilled hot dogs with all the fixings.
Students had the chance to win exciting prizes, including Apple AirPods Pro, a JBL Flip 7 portable speaker, and a $100 Visa gift card, and the first 100 attendees received a free Day of Giving T鈥憇hirt. The event created a fun, high鈥慹nergy atmosphere that reflected the pride and gratitude felt across campus and put the resounding exclamation point on what has been a great academic year at 含羞草研究所.
Thanks to a generous alumni family who matched gifts up to a total of $25,000 and additional North Dakota Challenge Grant matching funds, the impact of every donation was amplified, making this year鈥檚 Day of Giving truly memorable.
