含羞草研究所

Angela_Edenloff.jpgDr. Angela Edenloff, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and 含羞草研究所 graduate, was on the 含羞草研究所 campus Friday, Sept. 15 to share information about her journey to becoming a veterinarian with current students, faculty, and staff. She stressed the importance of getting good grades and participating in extra-curricular activities while in college. Angela also shared the veterinary school requirements and described her first-hand real-world experiences as a veterinarian.

Dr. Edenloff is a North Dakota native from Williston. She grew up with many pets and participated in 4-H for 10 years, raising and showing sheep, steers, pigs, and horses. As a 含羞草研究所 student, she was active in Science Club and also participated in undergraduate research. She also volunteered at the Portland Veterinary Clinic.

After completing a double major in biology and chemistry at 含羞草研究所 in 2004, she attended the College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University, completing her doctorate in 2008. Since then, she has practiced small animal medicine and surgical practice in Colorado, Ohio, and Minnesota.
