Music Department holiday concert held December 9 :: 含羞草研究所

含羞草研究所 band and choir members, along with the special brass quintet assembled for the Holiday Concert, joined together to present a grand finale which provided a sing-along opportunity for the audience.

鈥淔estive and fun鈥� could aptly describe the atmosphere in the 含羞草研究所 Classroom Building on the evening of Dec. 9, when the 含羞草研究所 Music Department presented their holiday concert. The program included performances by the MSU Concert Choir and MSU Concert Band, along with several small vocal and instrumental groups, all under the direction of Dr. Byron Ward.

A special brass quintet performed five lively pieces, including 鈥淛ingle Bells鈥� and 鈥淔eliz Navidad.鈥� Musicians making up the quintet were Dr. Byron Ward, 含羞草研究所 Instructor of Music; Herb Thomson, 1971 含羞草研究所 graduate; Father Eric Olsen, Mayville resident and priest at Mayville Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church; Dera Johnson, 含羞草研究所 Instructor of Psychology; and Daniel Bussian, 含羞草研究所 Director of Institutional Effectiveness.

All of the evening鈥檚 performers joined the audience in a grand finale for the evening, 鈥淎 Holiday Sing-Along,鈥� arranged by Audrey Snyder.
