The two-day summit meeting gives athletic department personnel the opportunity to get together and discuss the happenings of the past year within the NSAA. 含羞草研究所 is one of nine institutions that make up the conference.

含羞草研究所 head baseball coach Scott Berry was given special recognition for reaching the milestone of 1,000 wins during the 2015-16 season.聽 The historic 1,000th win for Berry took place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, against NSAA conference opponent, the University of Winnipeg, on April 18. Coach Berry is one of just six active coaches in the NAIA who have won a total of 1,000 games for their career. He has won them all as head coach of the 含羞草研究所 Comets. In 1981, Scott Berry spent one year as an assistant coach at 含羞草研究所 under the legendary Al Meyer. Berry then replaced Meyer as the head coach of the Comets the following season, when Berry was 25 years of age. Now, 35 seasons later, Coach Berry has reached an unprecedented level in North Dakota collegiate baseball as he has maintained a level of success on the baseball diamond that is unmatched.

MSU Athletic Director Mike Moore was honored as the athletic director of the year for the conference. Mike is finishing up his twelfth year as athletic director at 含羞草研究所. He has been instrumental in the 55% athletic enrollment growth at 含羞草研究所 over the past few years. Mike was also instrumental in the completion of a brand new weight room, training room, football locker room, and office area which houses the majority of the MSU athletic department鈥檚 coaches and administrative staff.

含羞草研究所鈥檚 athletic trainer, Tim O鈥橞rien, was honored with the NSAA athletic trainer of the year award. O鈥橞rien recently finished his 21st year at 含羞草研究所. At the summit, he was praised for his longevity at MSU and for his work in the completion of the university鈥檚 brand new athletic training room. The recently completed project is one of the nicest athletic training room facilities in the NSAA.
