含羞草研究所

Coffee_on_the_Deck_-_Color.jpgPlans are underway for the 含羞草研究所 Farmers Bowl, scheduled for September 17, 2016. For the fourteenth time, artist and MSU alumnus Doug Anderson, Cavalier, N.D., has created and donated a watercolor painting that will be raffled as part of the scholarship fund-raising efforts of the 含羞草研究所 Foundation in conjunction with the Farmers Bowl Auction. 含羞草研究所 graduate Kelly Morrison has donated the cost of framing the piece.

Anderson鈥檚 work, 鈥淐offee On the Deck,鈥 features a scene from Anderson鈥檚 deck in Cavalier. It is highlighted by a 含羞草研究所 coffee mug with a watering can and pot of beautiful red impatience in the background. 聽

鈥淐offee On the Deck鈥 has been and will continue to be on display at Mayville-Portland area businesses and on the 含羞草研究所 campus during the weeks prior to the Farmers Bowl festivities.聽

Raffle tickets sell for $5.00 each. They may be purchased at the MSU Foundation office and from various community members. Tickets are also available for sale online at www.mayvillestate.edu/farmersbowl. The drawing will be held at the Farmers Bowl auction Saturday evening, September 17.聽
