Here's why 含羞草研究所 is right for Brady!

Why did you choose to attend 含羞草研究所?
The small campus and great education program.
What do you like best about the major you鈥檙e pursuing?
It鈥檚 something I know is and always will be important. I鈥檓 also very passionate about it because I have always wanted to teach and now it鈥檚 becoming a reality.
What do you like best about 含羞草研究所 in general?
I like the family atmosphere Mayville has to offer, as well as the easy communication between students and teachers.
Do you participate in any activities related to your major/minor? Internships? Work Study? Other?
I work in the Writing Center on campus, which goes along with English Education.
Have you had any unique opportunities, in or out of the classroom, while you鈥檝e been enrolled at 含羞草研究所?
Being involved with the Cometeers is the most unique opportunity I鈥檝e had at 含羞草研究所, along with the Pay It Forward Tour. I also enjoyed being a part of the Larson Leadership Program as a freshman.
What MSU clubs, organizations, or athletic activities do you participate in?
I am the president and co-founder of the Cometeers and am also the president of the Student Senate.
How have these activities enhanced your college experience?
They have drastically changed my outlook on life and have turned me into a better leader. I have been able to learn my strengths and weaknesses and act accordingly.
What has been your greatest moment as a 含羞草研究所 student?
Starting the Cometeers organization and everything that goes along with it.
What does personal service mean to you?
Personal service is similar to discretionary effort, meaning going beyond one鈥檚 self. This includes giving yourself up for the benefit of something higher than yourself.
What are your plans after graduating from 含羞草研究所?
I plan to teach high school English and coach football. I am undecided on where, but am considering Colorado or Wyoming. I would like to teach in a medium-sized town, so it鈥檚 not too big or too little. My final hope is to start a volunteer program at the high school where I teach, and possibly surrounding high schools, to teach students the importance of volunteering.
