I choose to attend 含羞草研究所 because the football coach gave me an opportunity to showcase my talents, not only as a student, but a student-athlete.
What do you like best about the major you鈥檙e pursuing?
What I like best about the major I鈥檓 pursuing in is interacting with others about the positive and negative sides within fitness and wellness. You won鈥檛 believe how many people don鈥檛 know, but are willing to learn, the basics of fitness and wellness.
What do you like best about 含羞草研究所 in general?
What I like best about 含羞草研究所 is the focused environment, not only in the classroom, but in the Mayville community as a whole. I also enjoy getting to see new faces throughout the different semesters.
Do you participate in any activities related to your major/minor? Internships? Work Study? Other?
I was a member of the 含羞草研究所 football team, which involved a lot of activities related to fitness and wellness.
What MSU clubs, organizations, or athletic activities to you participate in?
In addition to being a member of the 含羞草研究所 football team, I鈥檓 the treasurer of the HPER Club, which is a great way to meet new people and learn about new ways to approach fitness and wellness.聽
How have these activities enhanced your college experience?
These activities enhanced my college experience by opening up doors to opportunity I never thought I could open. I get to meet new people and form new friendships with people who I wouldn鈥檛 have met if I hadn鈥檛 joined.
What has been your greatest moment as a 含羞草研究所 student?
My greatest moment as a 含羞草研究所 student is being able to choose what I want to do for the rest of my life. My instructors and my advisor are steadily pushing me to become the person I want to be.
What does personal service mean to you?
To me personal service means you鈥檙e available to help a person no matter the time or day.
What are your plans after graduating from 含羞草研究所?
I plan to become a personal trainer while pursing to get my graduate degree. In the long run, I hope to become a coach because I want to provide a path for lower-middle class children to get an education with their athletic skills.
